ADVENT IN DASING
We are very happy to be able to contribute to the further upgrading of the town center with the planning of the new town hall.
To get in the mood for our new project, we visited the Christmas market in Dasing. With the great commitment of the townspeople, the markets take place between the Maypole and the illuminated church tower on 2 Avent Sundays.
NEW TOWN HALL DASING
In the VgV procedure with a proposed solution, our team was able to satisfy the Jury with the design of a building ensemble that creates a new center for the townspeople and thereby creates references to the defining elements of the new square.
CONSTRUCTION OF UNION HOUSE w/ PRAYERHALL
The construction of a new union house with seminar rooms and a prayer hall is intended to serve as a space of encounters, cultural exchange and prayer for a cosmopolitan Muslim community. The new building is carefully integrated into an environment characterized by dense trees in terms of material and volume. The reduced function-related design and the prayer room on the upper floor, which is vaulted with a light, geometrically complex wooden construction, give the building its special expression and identity.
The Church in Munich-Laim was published in the recently published book 'Klangraum' by Uffelen Verlag. ISBN 978-3-945539-14-9 (DE)
Sound spaces are a construction task in the varied, constant change. They create the balancing act between classic event locations and modern locations.
The book shows around 50 contemporary projects from Germany, Austria and Switzerland in which sound was built.
FACADE DESIGN - GAS HEATING PLANT KIEL
The textile facade cladding of the new power plant in Kiel, carried out by Hillebrandt GmbH according to our competition design (1st prize 2015), confirms the quality of the design, which takes away the bulk of the up to 60m high building volume, the suspended textile facades, and the play of light changing playful appearance throughout the day.
Our team's summer excursion this year took us through the Ampermoos, the Grafrath gorge, over a water level to the Fürstenfeld monastery. We experienced the diverse natural environment of the Amper river at midsummer temperatures in small canoes, a refreshing and inspiring change from everyday office life.
3 COMMUNITY HOUSES FOR THE HAFENCITY
In the international open competition for the community houses in Hafen City, HHA is ranked 4th in the shortlist with the concept of green buildings at all three locations, Grasbrookpark, Lohsepark and Baakenpark, with the concept of greened buildings.
Exhibition of the competition entries:
HafenCity InfoCenter in the Kesselhaus, Am Sandtorkai 30, 20457 Hamburg, June 14 - August 7, 2019
LONG NIGHT OF ARCHITECTURE
For the fifth time in succession, Messe München is organizing a sightseeing program with bus tours and guided tours to outstanding buildings in the city of Munich.
The church in Münch en-Laim is part of the visit program and is approached by bus on route 1 (red route). Small guided tours and organ music are offered from 7 p.m. We are looking forward to your visit.
1. PRICE - COMPETITION FUEL STATION OF THE FUTURE
Competition of the energy company Q1. With a concept proposal for a changing petrol station system that is conceptually open for the future developments of a mobile society, our team was able to convince the client. The concept is to be further developed and implemented at selected locations.
The final wrapping-up after ending phase 9 for the new church building in Munich-Laim showed: the building has proven itself after 5 years of use. The church building is very satisfied and the community feels comfortable. As a CO2-neutral building, the community center generates energy surpluses every year that are fed into the public grid.
We are happy about this success, which corresponds to the quality understanding of our office. This beautiful result would not be possible without the committed cooperation of everyone involved in the planning and implementation. We would like to express our thanks for this.
The tour of exemplary architecture in the Alpine region and a subsequent hike led our team from Garmisch-Partenkirchen through the Höllentalklamm to the Alpspitz.
Thanks to good weather, 1,200 meters of altitude were climbed with a lot of endurance and joy.
Two projects were selected for this year's architectural tours. The residential and commercial building in Munich Moosach could be viewed from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and the washing facility in Mittenwald at 2:00 p.m.
The car wash was also presented in a radio report at Bayern 2, on June 22 at 3:30 p.m. and on June 23, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Here to the podcast of the BR.
The Bayerische Rundschau reported on the architectural tours on June 23, 2018 at 6.30 p.m. and reported, among other things, on the guided tour of the residential and commercial building as a city building block in a listed environment.
